Refund Policy

Return Policy

The option for returns is available for 30 days. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we are unable to offer you an exchange or refund.

Only unused items in the same condition as received are eligible for returns. The item must also be returned in its original packaging.

Some items cannot be returned. This includes perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines. We also do not accept returns for hygiene or sanitary products, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Other items that cannot be returned:
* Gift cards
* Downloadable software products
* Certain health and personal care items
To process your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Do not return your purchase to the manufacturer.

Partial refunds may be granted: (if applicable)
* Books with obvious signs of use
* CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records with opened packaging
* Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts due to reasons not caused by us
* Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirmation. We will also notify you whether your refund is approved or denied.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within a certain number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account.
Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all this and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at hello@thehappybed.nl.
Sale items (if applicable)
Refunds cannot be issued for sale items.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@thehappybed.nl and send your item to Rhijnauwen 4, 1358 DD Almere, The Netherlands, Attn: Geodis.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. A gift card will be sent to you once the returned item is received.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail it to Rhijnauwen 4, 1358 DD Almere, The Netherlands, Attn: Geodis.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you depends on where you live.

If you are shipping an item over €75, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
