Washing Instructions
Keep your HappyBed fresh and fluffy
At HappyBed, your convenience comes first. Our duvets are designed to end the hassle of separate covers. Simply wash the entire duvet, dry it, and dive straight back into a wonderfully fresh bed. But what’s the best way to handle it? Follow these simple instructions for the best results.
Size Guide:
What washing machine capacity do you need?
To keep the filling in perfect condition, it is important that your duvet has enough room to move inside the drum. Use the guidelines below for the required drum capacity:
Duvet Size
Required Drum Capacity
140x200 / 140x220± 5 kg capacity
160x200 up to 200x220± 7 kg capacity
240x200 / 240x220 and larger± 10 kg capacity
Drying: Quick and Simple
Your HappyBed will be ready for use again in no time. You have two options:
Option 1: Air dry (Recommended)
Hang your HappyBed out to dry. Thanks to the airy hollow fiber filling, it is often completely dry within 1 to 2 hours. This is the most eco-friendly option and keeps the fabric looking beautiful for longer.
Option 2: Tumble dryer
In a hurry? The duvet is dryer-safe. A short drying cycle is usually enough to get your HappyBed dry and voluminous again.

Washing instructions per material
Your HappyBed is filled with high-quality hollow fiber. This filling is resilient, hypoallergenic, and specially developed to dry quickly. When washing, please pay close attention to the outer fabric (the casing) of your duvet:
☁️ Hollow fiber with Cotton or Teddy
Do you have a duvet with a cotton exterior or our wonderfully soft teddy fabric?
- Temperature: Maximum 40 °C. This ensures the natural cotton fibers and the softness of the teddy fabric stay beautiful for as long as possible.
- Spin cycle: 1000 RPM is sufficient. Thanks to the quick-drying material, there is no need for a higher speed, which helps prevent wear and tear.
✨ Hollow fiber (Standard)
For our other versions, the following applies:
- Temperature: Wash between 40 °C and 60 °C.
- Spin cycle: 1000 RPM.
Tips for a longer life for your HappyBed duvet
- Give it a shake: Give your duvet a quick shake every morning. This keeps the hollow fiber filling evenly distributed and maintains its fluffiness and bounce.
- No ironing needed: HappyBed fabrics are designed to be virtually wrinkle-free. Ironing isn’t necessary and the high heat can actually damage the filling.
- Use less detergent: Avoid using too much laundry detergent. It’s better for the environment and prevents soap residue from getting trapped inside the thick filling.
- Fresh air is key: Regularly air out your duvet by hanging it near an open window. This helps moisture evaporate and keeps your bed feeling fresh without washing it every single time.
Your HappyBed is designed for ultimate convenience. No more hassle with separate covers: just wash, dry, and instantly enjoy a fresh bed again.
