About our privacy policy
Impora cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided thereon by Impora. The effective date for these conditions is 29/03/2023, with the publication of a new version rendering all previous versions invalid. This privacy policy describes which data about you are collected by us, what these data are used for, and with whom and under what conditions these data may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you have provided to us.

E-commerce software
Shopify
Our online store is developed with Shopify software. Personal data that you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obligated under the agreement we have entered into with them to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve its services. Shopify takes into account the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies, and your data may be processed in the United States.
E-mail and mailing lists
Shopify
We send our newsletters and transactional emails using our web store software 'Shopify'. All confirmation emails that you receive from our website and web forms are sent via Shopify's servers. Shopify will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email that is sent automatically via our website, you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This can severely reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is securely transmitted, stored, and accessed by Shopify. Shopify uses
cookies and other internet technologies that track whether emails are opened and read. Additionally, Shopify processes information about you as the recipient and the subject line of emails to improve the quality of service, and this data is stored for 30 days. Shopify reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share information with third parties in this context.
Gmail
We use Gmail services for our regular business email communications. This party has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Gmail does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.
Payment processors
Mollie
To handle a (part of) the payments in our online store, we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address, and residence details, as well as your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than is permitted by legal terms.
External sales channels
Bol.com
We sell (some of) our products through the Bol.com platform. When you place an order through this platform, Bol.com shares your order and personal information with us. We use this information to process your order. We handle your data confidentially and have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss and unauthorized use.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of the processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to - other than at your request - contact you at a later time, we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the purpose of further improving our services. This data (for example, your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.
Cooperation in fiscal and criminal investigation
In certain cases, Impora may be legally obligated to share your data in connection with a governmental fiscal or criminal investigation. In such a case, we are compelled to share your data, but we will resist it to the extent that the law allows us.
Retention periods
We keep your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we keep your customer profile until you
indicates that you no longer wish to use our services. If you notify us, we will also interpret this as a request to be forgotten. This also means that we will not keep your data for longer than two years from the last contact moment or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so. Due to applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term lasts. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced following your assignment.
Your rights
Under the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights regarding the personal data that are processed by or on our behalf. We explain below what these rights are and how you can invoke these rights. To prevent misuse, we only send copies of your data to your email address already known to us. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by mail, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep a record of processed requests, in the case of a forget request we administer anonymized data. You will receive all copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems. You have the right at all times to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data in an incorrect way.

You always have the right to access the data that we process or that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all the data along with a list of the processors who hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data, to the email address we have on file.

You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been modified to the email address we have on file.

You always have the right to restrict the processing of data that relates to your person or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data that we process, or that relate to your person or can be traced back to you, carried out by another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all the data about you that we have processed, or that have been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties, to the email address known to us. Right to object and other rights

Cookies from the American company Google are placed through our website as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website.
